Disclaimer
Last updated: 2026-07-13. Read this in full before subscribing or acting on any signal.
1. Educational and entertainment use only
Every signal, chart, paper-trade record, brain narration, dashboard, and screen on this site is published as educational and entertainment material. Signals reflect what an AI model has decided to do inside an internal paper-trading account. They are not personalized recommendations to buy, sell, or hold any security, futures contract, cryptocurrency, prediction-market contract, or other financial instrument.
Opus Trading AI is operated as an impersonal newsletter publisher. We rely on the publisher exemption from the Investment Advisers Act of 1940 (see Lowe v. SEC, 472 U.S. 181 (1985)). We do not solicit individualized client relationships, do not custody or manage subscriber assets, and do not tailor any signal to any subscriber's circumstances.
2. No fiduciary duty, no investment advice
You are not a client of Opus Trading AI. We owe you no fiduciary duty. Reading the site, subscribing to a tier, or following a signal does not establish an advisory or brokerage relationship.
Before any trade you place using information from this site, consult a licensed financial adviser, a tax professional, and your broker about whether the trade fits your specific circumstances, risk tolerance, time horizon, and tax situation.
3. Trading risk
- You can lose money. All trading carries the risk of substantial and total loss of capital. Leveraged products, options, futures, cryptocurrencies, and prediction-market contracts amplify that risk.
- Past performance is not indicative of future results. Backtested or paper-traded returns shown on this site reflect simulated and/or unfunded conditions; live execution will differ due to slippage, latency, fees, taxes, account size, and market regime change.
- Backtest limitations. Published backtests on the Balanced Growth tier landing page use point-in-time S&P 500 membership (companies that delisted, went bankrupt, or were acquired are included on the dates they were actually in the index), point-in-time fundamentals filtered by filing date, and 0.1% transaction costs per side — survivorship and look-ahead bias are controlled there. However: no slippage model is applied, other surfaces on this site may show simpler simulations that do NOT carry these controls, and every backtest remains a simulation — overfitting, regime change, and implementation gaps can make live results materially worse than any backtest.
- AI is not infallible. Our AI models can be wrong, hallucinate, be fed bad data, or behave unpredictably in regimes they were not trained on. Signal confidence scores are internal heuristics, not statements of probability.
- System outages. Broker connectivity, data feeds, and our own infrastructure can fail. Signals can be delayed, missed, or duplicated. Do not rely on automated execution without your own monitoring and risk controls.
4. Paper trading vs. real money
The Fleet War Room and tier portfolios shown on this site currently operate on paper-trading brokerage sub-accounts unless explicitly labelled otherwise. Paper trades are simulated; no actual securities or capital are bought or sold by Opus Trading AI on behalf of subscribers. Live-money operation, when launched, will be clearly labelled and gated behind a separate disclosure.
5. AI-generated content
Reasoning text, signal narratives, scanner summaries, and educational copy may be generated, in whole or in part, by large language models including but not limited to Claude (Anthropic), GPT (OpenAI), and locally-hosted open-source models. AI output may contain factual errors, outdated information, or misinterpretations of source material. Verify everything before acting.
6. Methodology and naming
Each Opus AI tier is built on top of an in-house AI model that has been trained on, and inspired by, public-domain investment methodologies and the published work of well-known practitioners. The tier brand names ("Opus AI Balanced Growth", "Opus AI Dividends Growth", etc.) are our brand names for our proprietary AI implementations. They are not endorsements by, affiliations with, or partnerships with any individual practitioner. We do not represent that any specific person has reviewed, approved, or is affiliated with our software.
7. Subscription terms
- Pricing, plan tiers, free-trial windows, and bonus content can change at any time; founding-member pricing is honored for active subscriptions.
- Subscriptions are billed by Stripe. Cancellation is self-service; refunds are governed by the Stripe-side terms presented at checkout.
- Signal-delivery channels (Telegram, Discord, email) are best-effort. We do not guarantee instant or simultaneous delivery across channels.
- Subscribers are responsible for their own broker setup, regulatory eligibility (PDT rules, options approval, futures approval, etc.), and tax reporting.
8. Forward-looking statements
This site contains forward-looking statements about product roadmap, performance targets, and revenue goals. Forward-looking statements are not guarantees. Actual results can and will differ from any expectation expressed here.
9. Compliance scope
Opus Trading AI publishes globally over the public internet. We do not target any restricted jurisdiction. Subscribers in jurisdictions where receiving impersonal investment publications is restricted are responsible for their own compliance. Nothing on this site is an offer to sell or a solicitation of an offer to buy any security in any jurisdiction where such an offer or solicitation would be unlawful.
